1.Electrotherapy and Electro-diagnosis:

This department is well equipped with all the therapeutic high, medium & low frequency modalities, actinotherapy which are used for reducing pain and improving strength. It also has diagnostic equipments like, EMG, NCV, EEG and Biofeedback.

2. Kinesiotherapy and Physical Diagnosis:

This department deals scientifically with exercise principles adopted to enhance the strength, endurance and mobility of individuals with functional limitations, in assessment and management of patients with disorders of muscles, bones, joints, nerves, tendons, ligaments, cartilage and spinal discs or those requiring extended physical conditioning. This department is well equipped with various exercise therapy gadgets.

3. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy:

The department is staffed by expert professionals in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy that caters to understand, evaluate and train students for the patients, who have suffered from orthopedic problems and disorders such as post fractures, arthritis, degenerative changes, sports injuries etc. It houses all the necessary equipments such as ergo cycle, treadmill, hydraulic rowing machine, suspension apparatus, and various sets of weight and the rabands.

4. Community Physiotherapy:

The department of Physiotherapy has a well- equipped therapeutic gymnasium, with latest facilities. It is designed to rehabilitate patients and to provide fitness programs for – geriatric, women in peri and post-menopausal age group, obese person, ante- natal & post- natal, their assessment and treatment.

5. Neuro Physiotherapy:

This department caters to understand, evaluate and train the patients who have suffered from neurological disorders such as stroke, cerebral palsy, developmental disorders, parkinsonism, bell’s palsy and the like. This will help students to know determinacy of chronic disease management principles related to neurological health using latest instruments like balance master and other gadgets.

6. Cardiovascular / Respiratory Physiotherapy:

This department offers services to various patients with cardiopulmonary disorder, such as bronchial hygiene therapy, therapeutic exercise, and electrotherapeutic modalities. These services are also extended to Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal ICU, cardiac, pulmonary and vascular rehabilitation. The overall aim of all the departments is to provide the best of Physiotherapy treatment to all the patients as well as practical exposures to both B.P.Th. & M.P.Th students.
